I worked for this company about two years ago. The crews were almost like families, salaries were average and paid regularly, and the food allowance was €8.50–9 per person. The vessels were mostly small and old, and some were not in good technical or external condition. The crews were well coordinated and friendly, there was room for career growth, and deck crews received extra pay for lashing work, although the engine department often had a reduced crew and a heavier workload.
