PG Shipmanagement

I completed two contracts as a cadet and one as an assistant with PG Shipmanagement. The vessels were generally in good condition, but career progression was difficult, the food was limited to Indian and Chinese cuisine, and the working schedule provided only half a day off on Sundays. I received two promotions, but after being assigned as an assistant for a month, my planned promotion was cancelled shortly before sign-off and I was sent home instead. The company had promised to send me to another vessel, but after I returned home they said there was no place for me; the promised follow-up employment was not provided.
