I have been on a couple of AAL ships, and the conditions vary from ship to ship. The A-class ship has more comfortable living standards, but don't expect anything special. There is a lot of work as the ships are not in the best condition, and it depends on the ship. The internet is quite poor, and the gym is small and not well-equipped. Contracts are usually 4+1 months on board and 2 at home, but it can be hard to get home before 4 months. The office staff is great and will help with everything, but overall, I would say they are okay for starting out, but I wouldn't recommend them for the long term.
