I completed my first two contracts through ABC Maritime. My overall impression was 99% positive, largely thanks to the crew.
I work directly through ABC Maritime in its offshore fleet. The company is excellent: they are always willing to accommodate requests, the salaries are decent, and contracts last 70 days. All vessels are equipped with Starlink, providing fast internet without delays.
I used to consider ABC Maritime AG a decent employer, but unfortunately, times have changed. After three contracts, I can note regular delays in salary payments, a lack of support for the crew in difficult situations, complete ignoring of emails and requests, and constant cost-cutting that directly affects the working and living conditions of sailors. The company now behaves as if it does not value its sailors at all, preferring to remain silent or shift responsibility onto others instead of addressing issues.
