Small-scale LNG bunkering and marine fuels operator since 2018; five bunkering vessels in service and two under construction.
The vessels are built cheap and worked hard. This is not an FSRU sitting on a jetty: every bunkering means berthing and unberthing, and in busy stretches we ran four or five operations in five days — sleep became theoretical. The gas engineer position does not exist, so that work lands on the electrician or nowhere. Supply is nearly zero and requests are met with lectures about cost; during my time the captain was removed and the chief engineer prayed his way to the end of contract. As a rung from LPG upward or for a promotion it can serve; for someone with deep-sea LNG experience it would feel like a downgrade that other owners may also read as one.
