I decided to refuse the offer, even though the salary was interesting (8700 USD for a second officer with a chief mate's documents). The turnover is crazy, and only a few stay there for a long time. They are constantly looking for people through 3-4 crewing agencies. I didn't want to take the risk. However, the fact that the ships mostly carry dirty cargo and are not used for grain cargo is definitely a plus.
