I went through an interview process with this company for a captain position in 2020. They sent me the contract terms and salary for working on tankers, but the payment system was very complicated with many bonuses that were hard to fully achieve. I had to take their CES 6.0 test even though I had already passed a similar one for another company. After several interviews, I was informed that something went wrong, and I was rejected for employment. My colleague faced the same situation, and we realized that the vessels they were supposedly hiring for didn't even exist yet. We felt misled by the testing and interview process and decided to look for other opportunities instead.
I worked with Enesel in 2023. I received my salary a month after disembarking, which was paid for each month worked. I didn't see a separate bonus for vetting, even though we passed it well. The hiring process took about three weeks from the first interview to joining the vessel. I had good communication with the crew and management, and there was minimal propaganda from the office compared to my previous company. However, they prefer long contracts of 4-5 months, which I tried to negotiate down to 3-3 or 4-4, but they were not open to that. Overall, I had a positive experience.
They deceive sailors and do not pay salaries and bonuses. This year, many sailors were left without work, bonuses were not paid, and the agency is not helping, instead siding with the shipowners to avoid losing them. They kept promising work but had no intention of actually placing anyone on a vessel, and no bonuses were paid to anyone. They are scammers and fraudsters!
