I worked through the company on Hafnia vessels. The salary was paid on time, the internet was available on board, and the provisions were acceptable. The crew included Filipino, Latvian, Russian and Ukrainian seafarers. Later, management was transferred to Thome, and many people lost their jobs.

The food is acceptable, salaries are paid on time, contracts are usually around four months, and officers receive full salary from the date of departure. The crew is mixed, but ratings are mostly Filipino and local officers are hired only occasionally. The required tests and company training are extensive, and the final approval is handled by the Croatian office rather than the local offices. Travel expenses are reimbursed.
