I don't have any updates since I'm not there anymore, but regarding the conditions on the ships, there are two watches, day and night. The 2nd engineer works 12-hour shifts, and the two 3rd engineers also have 12-hour watches. The 4th engineers are not present. The 2nd engineer is typically responsible for monitoring the main engine and other tasks. As for the company, it was excellent for me in terms of salary and everything else. I heard they might have increased the salary for 3rd engineers, but I can check. I haven't heard of anyone going out in port; I was on the Dublin - Holyhead - Cherbourg route.
