I contacted MIA about a vacancy, but the advertisement provided almost no information beyond the salary and contract duration. When I asked the office for more details, they requested my CV; after I sent my application, they still did not answer my questions. This brief communication left me with an unpleasant impression.
MIA acted as an intermediary and sent me to a vessel twice. I worked for two months on the first vessel, then had to leave when it went to Russia. After I contacted MIA, they placed me on another vessel through a different company within a month without any problems. I paid 1,000 after joining the first vessel and later paid the remaining balance; I then worked six months on a three-month contract and returned home satisfied, already in a higher position.
