I have sent several officers through MARPO Crewing Agency for offshore positions. They charge a commission, but they fulfilled their obligations. In my experience, MARPO is one of the few Ukrainian crewing agencies capable of placing senior officers, including captains, chief officers, chief engineers and second engineers, on jack-up units. After the initial placement, support for other regions may be limited and seafarers are largely left to handle matters themselves.
