Hong Kong-based gas carrier owner and manager (VLGC, LEG and VLEC fleets), invested by Shandong Marine Group; offices in Shanghai and Singapore.
I sailed as ETO on a VLGC. The working day ends sharply — after 16:40 the engine room empties, which cuts both ways: the pace is relaxed, but nothing is tidied up and habits at the mess table take adjusting to. There are two cooks and meals are a lottery, though you can ask for one dish to be made reliably. Consumables arrive promptly; critical spares effectively wait for a breakdown, and if an order is cancelled the decision has already been made informally ashore and cannot be revisited. Pay is the strong point.
