I completed a contract as an ETO on P. Victor. The salary was 4,000, and there were no problems with payment. However, the food was sometimes poor, discipline on board was lacking, and an exit commission was charged; I accepted it because this was my first position.
I worked on one of these vessels in 2019. Provisions and stores were available, the vessel operated, and my salary was delayed by two weeks once. The vessels were new, and it was possible to work there, although the fuel was very poor.
I worked as a member of the second crew on GOODREACH and on her sister vessels. I had no problems with supplies or salary during my contract.
I accepted one of these vessels from the shipyard in August 2018. We were hardly ever underway, and when we did sail, we moved slowly because there was no charter. Fresh water was extremely scarce on board.
I was sent to a vessel with serious problems in the deck and engine departments. Provisions and supplies were in extremely poor condition. The company sent fake payment receipts for the salaries, and I only managed to collect my salary after saying that I would not leave the vessel without being paid; the other crew members were not paid in full.
