I worked for Argo Shipping Ltd. on one of its vessels. There were no supplies, salaries were delayed by 2–4 months, the vessel was in very poor condition, and much of the equipment did not work. The dry dock was repeatedly postponed, and the company had no SMS. As far as I know, salaries were delayed across the company's fleet and were paid in full only when crew members signed off. I would only consider this company for a starting position if there were no other options; otherwise, I strongly advise against it.
I worked for Argo Shipping Ltd. and found it to be a decent company. There were opportunities for promotion, and I worked with all of the regular masters without any issues. I also served on a good vessel, which has since been sold.
